                              2007  -  2008

TANNER was an amazing little puppy.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  Tanner was a wedding present to my daughter Leigh Anne from her new husband Ryan.  They got married on May 26, 2007.  Leigh Anne was very surprised because they had decided to wait awhile before adding to their family!   Tanner was part Bichon and part Lasa Aphso.  Tanner loved his new family.  He loved to go on walks and to play with dogs that were bigger than him.
 He was such a joy.  He loved to go to his Grandma's farm and  play with her cats and bark at the horses.  He would hide in the back of the pick up truck because he knew they were bigger than he was!  He especially loved visits from his Kentucky grandparents.  They brought him treats and loved on him a lot.   Tanner spent a lot of time with his Aunt Kristin too because she was attending Converse College. 

Tanner loved to sleep in the bed with Ryan and Leigh Anne.  Many mornings they would wake up and Tanner had most of the bed to himself-all stretched out and asleep on their pillows!  He would inch his way in between them almost every night

 Although Tanner wasn't with us  very long he will never be forgotten.  We know he is in doggie heaven and has crossed the rainbow bridge and we look forward to when we can see him again.

He was the best pet ever!

What We Do

Enoree River Rescue is active in rescuing animals from high kill shelters.  We are currently rescuing dogs and cats that are up for euthanization.

***We need foster homes.  Can you find it in your heart to help us by opening your home to a lovely animal until they are adopted?  It's very rewarding and the love and hugs you will receive from a rescue animal is amazing!**
